About me
Mark founded (2016) and leads 127 Energy with Pierre Moses the company's President. Mark has a leading role in identifying, planning, executing and financing renewable energy projects, from small commercial and industrial scale microgrids to complex utility scale projects exceeding a gigawatt. He began his career in renewable energy in 1997 by identifying, planning, and launching a new business line for Green Mountain Energy. He then founded Think Energy,Inc. in 2000 building on his years of experience in the energy and environmental sectors and sold that company in 2011. Having successfully developed and financed portfolios of wind, solar, battery, electric vehicle, etc. projects in the United States and beyond, Mark has direct insight on what makes projects work. He holds a B.A. in History from University of California- Davis and a M.S. from the Johns Hopkins University in Environmental Science and Policy.
