About me
Marie Barlow is an energy regulatory and policy attorney with deep knowledge in resource planning and procurement, interconnection, transmission, and climate change policy. Marie brings a unique blend of analytical precision and creative problem solving to her work and aims to empower organizations to advance innovative, equitable, and effective clean energy solutions. Before becoming an attorney Marie became a first-generation college graduate with her bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and economics from Western Washington University and served as an AmeriCorps Volunteer In Service To America. Marie attended the University of Oregon School of Law and did a brief tour through divorce law and advising union pension plans before finding her home in the clean energy space. Marie also serves as the Board Secretary for the Oregon Solar + Storage Industries Association and as the Legislative Committee Chairperson. In her spare time, Marie enjoys the great outdoors and chasing around two toddlers.
